Casino Times Nicholas Church / Joseph Spencer London Casino Times is the project of producers Joseph Spencer & Nicholas Church; a partnership that is rooted in house & techno, but often treads into the weird & wonderful. Since starting the project in 2010, the pair have carefully been crafting a back catalogue that reflects their eclectic influences, ranging from quirky disco b-sides to eccentric machine-driven electronica. They have released their music on a wealth of respected record labels including Futureboogie, Permanent Vacation, Omena Records & Wolf Music; the latter of which they released their debut LP 'Familiar Circles'. FACT described ‘Familiar Circles’ as having a 'Broad spectrum of moods', something that both Spencer and Church aim to deliver on each of their releases. Alongside regular shows in the UK and Europe, the duo curate their own white label edit series, simply titled ‘Casino Edits’ and host a monthly show 'What's My Derivative?' on one of London's most forward-thinking broadcasters, bloop. Both outlets have given them the opportunity to explore music from all parts of the electronic music spectrum and in turn, has helped them mature their sound both in the studio and behind the turntables.
