Caroline Jahns Caroline Jahns Düsseldorf and Frankfurt Classical Singer Beyond my fascination for sacral music, I am passionate about 19th century music, the German Lied and the Mélodie Française. My preference for the French oeuvre is not at least based on my heritage. My anchestors left Paris during the days of the Commune de Paris and exiled to Brussels, todays heart of Europe. Commuting between Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Brussels, I often pass the romantic river Rhine-valley, no doubt, my musical fondness echoes in this famous landscape.
