Music is for Carolina’s life as the soundtrack for a movie. The family was "set to music" influenced by her father, mad about Beatles, Stones, and her mother, fond of bossa nova, she was raised listening to Donna Summer, Aretha Franklin, beyond the brasilian music King Roberto Carlos.
Ballet dancer since 2 years old, she has the passion for dance, rhythm and interpretation from the classic sounds. The brother, a drummer, gave her intimacy with the underground and the first contacts with electronic music.
Bornt in São Paulo, she grew up at the country side, where she took an eclectic musical taste, moving between the various genres. Physical therapist as profession, she fell in love with the emusic, and found on it a way to meditative brain cleansing.
So, when speaking of electronics, these influences are noticeable throughout her work, beyond what she learnt and heard with the free transit over the backstages of the musical scene.
The line is serious and underground, minimal and progressive, resulting in well-built sets, directed to submit the public to non commercial sonorities.
Her apprenticeship began in 2006, but always showed up "for friends", in closed parties and after-parties. For nearly one year, she was invited to join the label S.A.C.I. records, and her career path turned from fun to a job, technically perfecting herself as a DJ, learning with various renowned Djs, and being manager of the label artists for a few months. She showed at the big event Virada Cultural de São Paulo, having a huge amount of people as her public. Developed the project Mighty Grooves, in partnership with the famed DJ Trotter, is a member of the duo of girls DJs Soulsystem, nowadays called VENUS in FURS, and also production assistant of the event Green Sunset, in the modernist gardens of Museum of Image and Sound in Sao Paulo during 2012(MIS-SP).
The sound of this season has touches of deep house, that is an important sound influence for over 4 years, but bet on low BPM techno and minimal psychedelic genres such as to be worked like the next step of electronic track.
The results are danceable, heavy and intense!
