Carla Rebora Carla Rebora Asti Carla Rebora (Genova, 1973), Turin composer, pianist, teacher and music analyst. He graduated with highest honors. It was for her fundamental the meeting with Azio Corghi at the Santa Cecilia National Academy. Her production ranges from the musical theatre to the orchestra. It’s significant her catalogue for solo guitar. She won several contests. In 2003 she won the Stresa Musical Weeks contest with Karumi kana, piece that was performed by the RAI National Simphonic Orchestra. In 2011, she won the prestigious award “Play It!” that was unanimously assigned by the Tuscany Regional Orchestra for QUIMERAS : “… sad and excellent, luminous and disenchanted, folded on itself and energic, like Rebora’s music” (Riccardo Lenzi, Espresso). Her recordings are published and distributed by VDM, Ducale, Bottega Discantica. In occasion of her 10th anniversary activity, she published the monographic CD Accordature. It is absolutely original her cooperation with Carla Magnan forming an extraordinary match: they wrote together music and texts for Hymnen and L’aurea d’Amore. She is responsible of SIMC Piemonte-Liguria and is part of Editorial board of SuonoSonda (music research review). She is consultant for PRACTICA Publishing House and Artistic Director of the ERREPOMERIGGI.
