In the past shed hunters from all around the region have descended upon Jackson in late April to jockey for position to be the first to access public land for the antler shed hunt. This year the Town of Jackson is taking steps to make this line-up process smooth and fair for all wishing to take part in the shed hunt. New this year...there will be an application process for those wishing to stage in the escorted procession from town to the Elk Refuge Road. Individuals who would like to be in this procession will need to fill out an application in advance.
