MELODIC, PROGRESSIVE & DEEP Capricaseven is an electronic artist and DJ from Helsinki, Finland. He makes electronic music with a focus on infectious melodies combined with lyrics that dig deep into themes like spirituality, spiritual growth, healing and the dark side of human psychology, without forgetting the occasional forays into more whimsical pop territory. In fact, there is a strong pop vibe in all of his songs, whether it’s obvious or not. He started producing electronic music in December 2012 after immersing himself in the world of electronic music for the first time. He now does the songwriting, producing and increasingly, singing on his tracks while also collaborating with some of the hottest new talent in the scene like the up-and-coming singer Yellonis. Capricaseven’s sound has been influenced the most by Avicii, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Sick Individuals, W&W, Promise Land, Crystal Castles, Huoratron and Linkin Park. Capricaseven finds lyrical inspiration from years of listening to metal music: bands like The Devil Wears Prada, Dio, Killswitch Engage and In Flames. In 2020 Capricaseven made his first official remix for the metalcore band A War Within. In 2021 Capricaseven plans to take his music even further. 2020 was amazing with lots of achievements, but it was still just a test run for what’s to come.
