disquiet0431 banabila euclidian by Modulatia

I liked the mood of this track by banabila and euclidian and thought I might be able to put some guitar to it. For pedals I went phaser > fuzz face > delay > dirty amp sim. That IS too much distortion, but that's how I like it sometimes. It didn't quite sound right to me but I randomly got the idea to then reverse it, and that added the feeling of uncertainty and chaos that I was craving. In order to fade it out, I used a flanger controlled by an envelope follower so that it was a bit more interesting than a normal volume fade. Overall it kind of makes me think of Further Down The Spiral if anyone remembers that album.
