I am the On-Air Night Personality at WKHT Hot 104.5 in Knoxville, TN! Listen to Monday-Friday 7PM-12AM and Saturday 11AM-3PM and online at www.hot1045.net! Previously I have worked at at 99.1 KGGI, "The IE's Hottest Hit Music" and have served as a Board Operator at iHeartMedia Los Angeles. I served as a backup producer with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 KIIS-FM. I also produced interviews for special events such as REAL 92.3's "REAL Show", "Birthday Bash" & "REAL BIG Holiday Show" and 102.7 KIIS FM's "Wango Tango" & "Jingle Ball". I've loved radio since I was a kid. I followed personality coming and goings, frequency switches, format flips, and would do backsells, teasers and time myself on :30 spots...just a lot of the ins and outs a kid shouldn't pay attention to. I knew I wanted this as my career. My Sophomore year of high school, I was introduced to the Radio Broadcasting & Journalism course at Highland Springs Technical Center. Always complimented with having a face for radio, I was accepted for my Junior & Senior years where I flourished into a personality and Program Director for student station, WHCE Mix 91FM. While at HSTC I won numerous awards, including placing 1st in states in the Skills USA Radio (Audio) Production competition and 2nd in the national competition in Kansas City. I also gave a tagline of "The Home Of Variety Central", which is used today. Like most radio folk, I have a side business, Slapdash LLC, which I co-own with my partner Robert "Octavion X" Markum. Since 2009, Slapdash has been RVA's source for indie music, culture, and arts. Our signature event, Epic Fest, has been held every June since 2011 and has become a RVA staple, partnering with several venues and receiving sponsorship from brands such as Crown Royal & Coors Light. I understand that radio is a megazord encompassed of programming, promotions, and sales! I've been fortunate to work in multiple formats and areas of radio.
