"Encensions" was written as a tool to help young musicians develop differing bow strokes like legato, staccato, slurs, accents, bow lifts, and even trills. All parts have melody and the textures are designed to be flattering to young ensembles. Dynamic contrasts also add to the rich texture of this piece.
