An Illumination by Benjamen Walker published on 2015/01/26 23:52:24 +0000 Cédric Villani won the prestigious Fields Medal for his work in 2010. He wrote a book about his experience called Birth of a Theorem: A Mathematical Adventure. It is a book about where ideas come from. There is something spider like about Villani, and I say that not just because of the pins he is famous for always wearing. He knows how to catch ideas, and he wants to teach us how as well. We also talk with Maria Popova about another great Science book: The art of Scientific Investigation. I found this book thanks to the idea catching web that Maria Popova built: brainpickings.org Comment by Pamela Zabala <3 2015/06/05 15:35:55 +0000 Comment by ewilliams breaking it down 2015/02/10 20:27:23 +0000 Comment by JESSICA "originality consists of linking up ideas of who's connection was not previously suspected." 2015/02/02 21:50:38 +0000 Comment by JESSICA very interesting 2015/02/02 21:44:52 +0000 Comment by Nicolaj 'Nicho' Ibsen very brilliant mind you must be very clever 2015/01/29 13:51:44 +0000 Comment by ugeezyjunior gud follow bck 2015/01/28 12:36:49 +0000 Comment by minimostri ! 2015/01/28 09:49:20 +0000
