Bubsy Millions, continues to make his mark within the music and entertainment scenes. his ambitious
objectives continue to be his magic formula when it comes to amazing his fans and anyone he comes in contact with.
Born in the Bronx, NYC and raised in Harlem and the Carolinas, Bubsy’s voracious thirst for excellence in his craft has been motivating
within the hip-hop communities from NYC, SC, NC
and abroad since he was 9 years old doing music with Swizz Beats. His extensive devotion to being a musician, motivational speaker, and writer makes it easy for his devotees to love him with his booming
and distinct voice.
With his profound love for music, in 2014, Bubsy
released his 17 track album N.A.S.C.A.R. (North and
South Carolina artist representing) which was hosted by Dj Jus Right. Shutting down the streets,
the album received notable reviews for painting a picture of society’s present and future evolving matters. Through his music, Bubsy expressed the growing concern of police brutality, political and social corruption, and the lack of parental involvement, while opening the ears of the old and
new generations. It is evident that he is the definition of hip-hop as he expressed how his area was being overlooked musically and the fact that artists was not collaborating with each other.
Despite the challenges he was faced with, Bubsy was and still is known for beating the odds and overcoming obstacles. By working with artists and Deejays to bring what he considers that
“true music” back,
his work continued to inspire others who listened to his music.
Melvin Melo Austin states, “ Finally got a chance to pop in that NASCAR I’ve been hearing so much about in the streets. WHOA! From beginning to end, nothing but fire. Even the skits get play!”
In 2015 he was crowned champion of Shay’s S.U.R.E. Events (Rep The City Showdown) while competing for the best hip hop artist. With his singles “Dance Yo” and “Nigerian Hair” he won an
all-expense paid trip to Houston, TX to represent the Carolinas and Houston’s S.U.R.E. Launch (Shay’s Unlimited Radical Events).
Along with being enthusiastic and energetic, he is notorious for
giving the Carolinas a conscious upbeat and urban sound. Opportunities are endless as he has opened up shows for artists such as L.O.X., Junkyard Band, Big Daddy Kane, Future Fambo and Dru Hill. His music has transpired to being included in television and radio commercials, movie sound tracks and plays. His infinite talents have been seen in plays such as Tamika Morris’s Food
For The Soul in 2015, and Reggie Adams’ movie Hurt People, Hurt People. While undertaking various responsibilities he also manages to support and represent independent clothing lines such as Connected, Classic, So Fly, Bornatty and I Define Me.
