Brothers Brimm Ogden, UT A Utah-based jam band that draws from a wide range of influences including funk, jazz, and rock. Blending funky grooves, intricate guitar work, and soaring keys solos the band attempts to stand on the shoulders of jam giants before them, while they work to carve out a space for themselves. Brothers Brimm was founded in 2014 around the talents of Jordan Olsen (guitar, vox), Chris Aguilar (guitar, vox), John Chatelain (bass, vox), Ben Ollofson (keys, vox), and Nate Chappell (drums). In 2018 David Oster (sax, vox) officially joined the outfit. The band’s members met while teaching music instruction at a hometown music academy. They would often stay late after their students had gone home to jam and improvise late into the night. Before long they were performing live as Brothers Brimm. Known for their live performance musicianship, the band released their debut album, Nate’s Beard, in 2015. Their sophomore follow-up, Ben Head, arrived in 2017 and was released simultaneous with their first live EP, Hey Ogden – an homage to their hometown where the band cut their teeth.
