BROOMFILLER Toronto BROOMFILLER is Toronto’s answer to tuneful punk rock. Blending melodic vocals, bass lines and rhythmic drumming, with a very energetic live show, easily elevates their standout showmanship. No strangers to gigging, the band toured their last (2nd) album, "Enter the Storm" twice in the US. (Spring U.S. tour - 41 shows in 46 days & Fall U.S. Tour 54 shows in 60 days), while garnering much praise for their indie DIY work ethic and resulting radio play for their single "The Cause", which did especially well on US college charts, reaching #1 in Pennsylvania! BROOMFILLER have carved out a successful path from the getgo, with their acclaimed debut "Watching the Girls Go Bi" receiving significant fanfare and recognition across Canada, USA & Europe. In fact, the video for Decide Inside enjoyed rotation on MUCHMusic, and spun in pockets right across the country, & most notably was featured on Toronto's 102.1 The Edge. They have toured extensively since 2002 in both Canada & the US. BROOMFILLER have been compared to Foo Fighters holding hands with Bracket while sitting on a park bench made by Jawboxx & Husker Du, eating a sandwich made by Bad Religion and Face to Face. Enlisting Jordon Zadorozny (Blinker the Star/Courtney Love/Sam Roberts/Melissa Auf DeMar) to produce their soon to be released "Third Stage Propellor Index", BROOMFILLER prepares to kick off with a Toronto album release party August 28th, followed by a series of western tour stops beginning Sept.16th in Sudbury & winding down in Vancouver, BC before the end of September.
