Broke String Burnett Fort Worth When Brandon "Broke String" Burnett writes a song it's not a one off, but another chapter in an on going story to fully realize his own identity through an epic journey of multiple albums. Earning his nick name, "Broke String", Brandon has spent the last several years, honing his skills and writing as much as possible. The debut of his full length album DOPPELGANGER will be an experiment in Broke String's own brand of country music with a punk rock attitude- a psychedelic, cosmic country fever dream. Broke String Burnett is a uniquely Texas song-crafter from Fort Worth. A country music crooner with a punk rock attitude, Broke String focused his energy on songwriting during the 2020 pandemic, writing more than he ever had before in his 12 years as a guitarist. After a release under his own name, recorded and produced in an apartment closet, he's back with a concept that drove him to a cosmic level. Determined to produce a fully realized project, it all came full circle when he teamed up with his long time friend, Calan Rawl, to produce a new album. After a few false starts dealing with the complexities of pandemic times, the collaboration lead to tracking a lot of material in a couple months time.
