brianmarquis Brian Marquis Los Angeles, CA Brian Marquis is an American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Marquis is the creator and founder of the Acoustic Basement stage at the Vans Warped Tour (2012-2015) as well as the spin-off Acoustic Basement Tour in the US & UK (2013-2014). He also produced a charity music bicycle tour called A Bike & A Mic for a Cure Tour, cycling 1,200 miles playing shows to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (2015). Formerly of the beloved Boston post-hardcore band Therefore I Am, Marquis began his solo career in 2011 after the band parted ways and signed to Equal Vision Records in 2014 releasing his debut LP ‘Blood & Spirits’. He has gone on to release multiple EPs and has toured the US, Canada, and Europe extensively.
