Brian Judah is truly a unique multi-talented singer-songwriter, musician, performer, and producer. He was nominated for a record-breaking 6 L.A. Music Awards and ended up walking home with 3 awards, including their most prestigious award, Singer-Songwriter of the Year. The following year, Brian became the first artist in the two-decade history of the L.A. Music Awards to win the Singer-Songwriter of the Year award in back-to-back years. Recently, Brian starred on Bravo TV’s reality songwriting competition Platinum Hit, hosted by multi-Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Jewel, and head-judged by the multi-talented songwriter and music publisher, Kara DioGuardi. The show featured some amazing judges including Ryan Tedder, Jermaine Dupri, Donna Summer, Bonnie McKee, Evan Bogart and many more. Brian was the only writer on the show, along with Sonyae Elise, who got their epic winning song “Stranger To Love” placed with an artist — an fantastic new artist on Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation, Bridget Kelly.
Music has been Brian’s ultimate passion since he was just a few years old. He has been composing songs since the age of 9 and continues to compose every day. Brian has a soft spot for piano, but he also plays a number of other instruments including drums, percussion, guitar, bass & keyboards. He’s influenced by an extremely wide variety of artists and groups that include Guns N’ Roses, Stone Temple Pilots, Queen, Keane, Elvis Presley, Bjork, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Frankie Laine, Pearl Jam, Jellyfish, Faith No More, Kanye West, Radiohead, Tom Waits, Kraftwerk and many more.
Brian is currently finishing up his upcoming debut album “Delays”, arriving in 2018, and continues to work on his concept album “Garden Of Edith” as well, which is titled in honor of his mother Edith Judah, who passed away from breast cancer when he was 17 years old. He’s been working on this concept album off and on for over 5 years now and won’t release it until he feels it’s ready. He calls the album “a soundtrack to the first few chapters of his life”. It features gorgeous, haunting string and choral arrangements by multi-Grammy-winning David Campbell, as well as drumming by Abe Laboriel Jr., Matt Chamberlain, and many more.
Today, Brian is more eager and ready than ever to communicate his music to the world & universe on a very large scale. Currently, he is spending most of his time writing and recording lots of new material for his upcoming album "Delays". Music has been Brian’s ultimate passion since that magical moment when he first heard a note follow another as a little kid, and with music undoubtedly continuing to be his ultimate passion throughout his life, Brian is intensely determined to have a very long and super successful career, full of powerful, honest, heartfelt & soulful music made for the masses.
