Breathe in-Break out!

Breathe in - Break out! (=Bibo) is a project of cultural empowerment. Breathe in to feel and understand the world that surrounds you. Break out, liberate yourself from the chains of self-deception which keep you from being and becoming. Those who want Hiphop to be just another tradable commodity fool us into believing that Hip Hop is the glorification of violence, drugs, sexism and homophobia. This is NOT Hip Hop. Hip Hop is an open space wherein all human beings can take part, regardless of their physical, economic or cultural attributes. The Bibo Festival, which has been running in Halle (Germany) since 2010 defends and enacts Hiphop as a cultural commons.
