BRASIL ACOUSTIC QUINTETT Dresden - Unplugged Progressive Worldmusic - Chilled Brasil-Grooves meet hot Prog-Rhythms. The band was found in January 2014 in Dresden. Since then they worked on building a program, which they released on their first gig in renowned Location "Festspielhaus Hellerau" in Dresden Germany. Since then they continued growing and playing in and around Dresden and finally and their first concert-tour around eastern-germany in September. Bandleader Stephan Pankow came up with the idea of forming this ensemble due to a trip to Salvador da Bahia, where he was studying half a year. He started to write music for quintet with brazil-typical instrumentation.
