Brandon Lucas Brandon Lucas Inglewood Brandon Lucas is an electronic-soul house music artist-producer-DJ born out of the tradition of R&B and Gospel music. Born and raised in Inglewood, CA, his vocal crooning and inspiring dancefloor grooves are powerfully reflective. His early fall 2020 single release “Got That Hope” features Dr. Cornel West - the esteemed philosopher, activist, and Harvard/Princeton professor - and is the first record from Purple Label Sound, a label imprint he founded to help elevate the next generation of BIPOC artists and other underrepresented communities within the electronic music space. The single is supported with remixes by electronic music maverick Seven Davis Jr. and house/techno heavyweight Seth Troxler. 2021 will see further collaborations from Lucas and Troxler, including the co-executive producing of the House of West project -- a conscious long play compilation with original funk, house and techno recordings featuring the soul-stirring musings of Dr. West. His first singe release of 2021 is an electronic-soul rendition of the R&B classic "Love No Limit" by Mary J. Blige, laying down his vocal stylizing over a quality tech house track. Music is a call to action and love for Lucas as an artist and to the world, as we move into rebirth and Renaissance of thought and art in the roaring 20s of this millennium. He is also a fashion model and digital media pioneer, as well as an advocate for wellness, fitness, mental health and using music to bring people together.
