Unaccompanied Sonata for a Fake Piano by brainiac256 published on 2011/11/05 15:46:53 +0000 Found this in my archives while browsing my computer while sick. I seem to have lost the project file for it when I switched OS's so it's not going to get any better (or worse) than it is right now. Basically I was writing this to be a four-hands two-pianos piece, with one piano tuned a quarter tone sharp. At first I envisioned a dual-manual piano with two sets of strings, but then I realized that was preposterous and just started writing it as a duet. Anyway, the end result is a piano piece composed in 24-EDO rather than 12-EDO. It's rather eerie and in some places enjoyable, and I hope it tickles your eardrums and inspires you to break out of the norm.
