I recorded a few short loops with the harp and guitar and used MLRV, CapstArc, and Ableton to manipulate playback speed pitch to create different chords and melodies - even typing in the figures live at moments. I apologize for some noise on the guitar clip - I seem to have a faulty jack or something. Also, there may be some clipping. Enjoy :) Genre Electronic Comment by 337is (three three seven is) @bradfromraleigh: You created that very well. Thanks for the additional details. 2017-01-25T12:49:43Z Comment by bradfromraleigh @337is: Thank you for the comment on this. This theme was actually part of the underlying concept I had. Without overthinking it, I was imagining how difficult it would be for a time traveler to choose a particular moment to be in. I tried to let each element be its own moment at times and be completely entagled at others and on occasion only a transfigured version of its former self. I wanted to symbolize the inherent fragility of each moment. 2017-01-25T00:02:33Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) I like how things occasionally occur concurrently with the claves, while other times they sound alone. It helps emphasize different passages of time and how they might be connected. 2017-01-24T12:47:31Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) Getting gloriously soupy here. 2017-01-24T12:45:27Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) I find the "noise" in the recording process to be a benefit to this performance. Adds an almost tactile presence to the sense of time and space. 2017-01-24T12:42:30Z
