Disquiet Junto Project 0300: The 300th Project

The challenge this week is to choose one chord, record yourself playing it on three different instruments for 100 seconds each, and layer the tracks. A final (optional) step allows for tweaking or filtering one of the tracks.

Two of the instruments I chose in Step 2--an A-440 Tuning Fork and a baoding ball--determined the chord I chose in Step 1: A major. The baoding ball produced a C-sharp when struck with the tuning fork (1 beat),
and the A of the tuning fork was played through the baoding ball (3 beats). My third instrument--a soft-saw wave played in E--was sustained by Renoise; and I used the metronome of Renoise at 60 BPM to keep me on track while I played the ball and fork.

I recorded the piece in the backyard with my phone, produced a second and third track in Audacity with pitches adjusted and layered so that each instrument was sounding the chord. Finally, I ran Paulstretch x 10 on the original recording and allowed that to play underneath for the allotted 100 seconds.
