Analog IN - Tears Of The Avalanche Girl by Bowhouse Studios published on 2012-05-24T13:04:30Z This is a selection of recordings I've made across the last couple of years: Marie Batchelder Dont Tell Me - Recorded vocals through my SPL track one and built a track around them in Nuendo - I'm going to change the style of this track, auto-tune the vocal, make it into more of a pop-dance tune, and carry on working with her in this style. Ambition - Jig - Ticket to the Stars - Queens Horses - Twiglets : all form an little EP i've been making with the Ped and Joe Show, it's finished now, I'm just going to go through the vocals and automate out a bit of the sibilance in them then send it to be mastered by Gethin John at the end of this month. Live Wire - recorded at the livelounge in reaper - and mixed in reaper using the stock plug-ins - the band were recorded through my focusrite octopre MKII's, i've since gone through a couple of the tracks individually with the band and we're finishing them off with a few overdubs to make a demo. Grey to Blue - recorded on my old system - a G4 Powermac tower running protools 5 through a digidesign 882/20 and focusrite octopre MKI.Mic's were all sennheiser 800series, no condensers used.Recorded and Mixed in Protools. Four Years On - the first bedroom recording I attempted - recorded on the same pro tools 5 system, mixed in the box.David Skinner was my landlord at the time, it was a real challenge getting this song as short as it was and adding in something to offset the fact that this was essentially a 10minute long 2 chord shuffle.Cello player was Jimmy Otley.
