Ambulance (2012) by bo keeney (solo releases, 2006 - 2016) published on 2021-08-13T09:57:51Z I released 'Don't You Worry' in late 2012 - my first legitimate release as a Universal artist. The title track was one of many attempts at creating a recording that transformed from one genre into another - in this case, from mariachi, to modern rock, to electro, to drum and bass, classic rock, and finally to a sort of gospel dubstep. The other two tracks, 'Ambulance' and 'Motivation', were put together in the weeks leading up to release, in a shipping container on a remote industrial estate I'd converted into a project studio. 'Powerful Mellow' was created in the same period, as a free download to accompany the EP. Writing, Production, Arrangement, all instruments: Bo Keeney Management: Will Frank Additional instrumentation: Robbie Fraser - Trumpet (on 'Don't You Worry') Maria Keeney - Backing vocals (on 'Don't You Worry') Jeremy Wheatley - Mix (on 'Don't You Worry') Andy Bradfield - Mix (on 'Ambulance' and 'Motivation') Tim Bran - Recording Engineer (some sessions, on 'Don't You Worry') Dick Beetham - Mastering ('on 'Don't You Worry', 'Ambulance', and 'Motivation') Comment by Kadra still such a fan of this song, a decade later. 2022-03-13T06:59:38Z
