By building their own beats their alternative and catchy pop songs remind a little of Depeche Mode, with an old school Beastie Boys underbelly feeling. Bob Billy has won several prizes: Rob Acda Award and ParoolPopprijs ‘Dear lord, they’re awesome! According to Mathijs van Nieuwkerk (host of the number one daily talk show of the Netherlands) who presented the Parool Popprijs. Bob Billy played the big venues of Holland, such as: Paradiso, Melkweg, Patronaat, Het Paard, Vera, Dijkpop Festival and many, many bars in both Holland and Germany. They are to be recognized as his band within the early years of Andre Hazes, just before and after his great break through. In the summer of 2014 Bob Billy was noted fourth in the Top 40 of Indie Charts.
