This week we are releasing Part I of a very special project with veteran artisan collectors rmendis and joeyquinn, also known as Richard and Michael. From humble beginnings and private sales to giant season-long events involving thousands of entries, artisan keycaps have had a meteoric rise in popularity as the mechanical keyboard community has grown. But how did we get here? Where did all of this art come from? This week, we discuss the Bronze Age of Artisans, defined as the time from 2010-2012, as we begin to record the oral history of artisan keycaps.
