BNTON (Club Charlotte)
started djing in the late ‘90s. As one of the current Club Charlotte lads, he has been performing first in different underground clubs around his hometown Muenster, where he developed his very own style, creating an innovative fusion between sound and performance, driven by his personal love for the “big show”.
In the meantime, his focus has shifted to deep hypnotic vibes as well as pure techno; of course, the passion for dancefloor grooves and real club killers remains… this powerful mix of carefully chosen pure straight techno and club sound is the essence of his strong sets.
During the past years, Bnton has been performing as well as promoting events in well-known clubs and locations in Germany and abroad, especially in Vancouver where he organized unforgotten parties at the famous Sonar Club. Looking for new influences, new places, new inspiration, he travelled to different cities such as Hamburg [Waagenbau, Baalsaal/Neidclub] where he promoted numerous events under the alias of Cargo. Artists like Ben Klock, Marcel Fengler, Terence Fixmer, Adam X, Damon Wild, Echoplex, Tama Sumo, Margaret Dygas, Sleeparchieve, to name just a few, were regular guests and had gigs with Bnton.
Then Bnton discovered the fascinating Berlin sound experience and decided to stay there for a while. That’s where he met the team of Prologue in 2008 and became a protagonist of the label as he helped build up the label’s booking agency. Here again, he organized first label parties for Prologue, the biggest being the one at Berlin’s notorious Berghain club in January 2010.
In 2012 he launched Club Charlotte, a serious new underground location in the city of Münster.
Club Charlotte has been quite a success straight away, offering not only space for around 900 people, but also the best sound quality with a Funktion One Soundsystem. BNTON has been promoting artists at Club Charlotte such as Cari Lekebusch, James Ruskin, Joey Beltram, Claus Bachor, Der Dritte Raum - live, Pascal Feos, 88uw, Krause Duo, Bloody Mary, Mike Wall, Unu, Function, Krenzlin, and there will be many more big names to come. The journey is not over yet.
These days BNTON is focussed on straight forward going and hypnotic Techno for warehouse lovers and those who knows.
