Blood Candy Los Angeles Founded by singer Tara Jane, Los Angeles femme-fronted Blood Candy incorporates dreamy sanguine vocals over noisy reverb-drenched guitars with tempo changes and haunting melodies that form a wall of sound a la Black Tambourine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine. Their album entitled, "Dead Moon" was released by Buddyhead Records in August of 2015. The Deli Mag, called it a "blend of fuzz and reverb that mingles like lovers' sweat and cigarette smoke —" They have worked with producer Joe Cardamone of the Icarus Line, graced LA's Part Time Punks and were named one of the, "13 Los Angeles Artists and Bands to Watch" by Grimy Goods. Their modern take on 90's shoegaze is best described as a soundtrack for heartbroken slow dancing and drug-fueled make out sessions.
