Bevin is the host of PBS 106.7FM program The Blend, which has enjoyed the privilege of being on air for well over a decade. His love for music and future direction was cemented as a key member of the team behind Red Bull Music Academy 2006 in Melbourne. Soon after he set up the Blend Corp. label to release and tour Wax Tailor’s (France) material, amongst others. Subsequently he went on to help establish and operate the popular CDR Melbourne producer meetups, which started in London and are now found around the world.
Bevin’s dynamic sets and eclectic taste sees sets vary depending on the night in question, he is not one to be put into any particular box or category. He comfortably plays hip hop and beats through to the strictly electronic, slotting into the requirements of drum’n’bass, jungle, footwork, house, techno, experimental, bass, grime, garage and beyond. Residencies past and present include Howler, Lucky Coq, Croft, Workshop, Forgotten Worlds, Ferdydurke and Black Cat, along with spots at clubs such as Revolver Upstairs, Lounge and Boney.
