bjornarhabbestad Bjørnar Habbestad Bergen Bjørnar Habbestad (1976) performs, improvises and creates music and sound art. He is active as a soloist, chamber and ensemble musician in Scandinavia, Europe, Asia and the US, covering musical grounds from classical contemporary to noise, electro-acoustic and free improvised music. Among his regular ensembles are Lemur, an all acoustic improv quartet, Polygon, a sextett specializing on performance of 20th and 21st century chamber music , instrumental noise unit Rehab with John Hegre (N), and USA/USB - an electroacoustic venture with composer Jeff Carey (US).
