Bjorn Diffus Björn Olsson Gothenburg Diffus is the project by Björn Olsson. He grew up in the forest of Swedish Wermland and now located in Gothenburg on the Swedish westcoast. At an early age Björn knew that he wanted to make art and after his first contacts with the rave scene in the mid 90´s he started making UV backdrops for psytrancepartys and club events. His works are psychedelic, with a dark mystic touch that echoes the scandinavian nature and norse folklore. Something thats been noticed by fellow producers and his artworks has frequently been comissioned for EP´s, compilations and album covers. Björns passion for the psytrance scene grew and after he graduated Art/design gymnasium in Karlstad he moved to Gothenburg and Founded the Underground Forestpartys Trolltyg (2001-2008) Throu the years Trolltyg became Legendary and Swedens biggest underground forestparty till this day. While making decorations and promoting partys and Djing the curiosity to make his own music grew. In 2003 he started producing his own tunes in FL studio, and still is. Early tracks was influenced by oldschool Goa/Psytrance with a progressive touch. Now the production ranges in the Dark progressive/ Forest Progressive style 136-142 bpm and streaching up in to forestpsy or down into psytech. Diffus aims to create evocative, powerful, and a unique psychedelic sound, merging 'traditional' Dark progressive & Forest psytrance approaches with oldschool psytrance. A soundtrack perfect for building up the vibe for nighttime madness or trancending down into the morning grooves. so many of his liveacts serves as a organic bridge between Genres.
