In it are traces of elements reminding one of Disney's 1940 Fantasia with its canon like use of JS Bach that expands from strings to winds and brass to moments that evoke "A Short Ride in A Fast Machine" by John Adams. One of the most important works YET TO BE WIDELY PERFORMED and CELEBRATED written by a contemporary African American composer. I am proud to champion it.
