Dark drum & bass event series since 2011. - Founded in 2011, the Hamburg based Bass Forward The Revolution Crew has established itself as an integral part of the North German drum and bass scene. With bookings e.g. Audio, Cause4Concern, Counterstrike, DJ Hidden, Forbidden Society, Skynet and Zombie Cats, the focus is on the dark and forward pushing sound. Bass Forward The Revolution is everything except a still life and has already enriched diverse places musically (e.g. Rote Flora, Hafenklang, Wutzrock Festival, MS Stubnitz, Gängeviertel, Fundbuero, ). In addition to the worldwide celebrated Therapy Sessions and one decade dark nights with varied bookings, a big passion is the basis for this project, which has meanwhile developed into a community of its own. With their 3 residents; Dr Woe, Violet Core and Rumo, the four-person crew not only has their own style regarding the genre, but forms also an important cornerstone for the dark drum and bass scene in Hamburg and in the north. Bass Forward The Revolution is not just about rave, it's also about a message: decidedly antiracist and pro positive vibes. Every guest should feel comfortable at their events, but also adhere to certain basics so that everyone experience a great night in a pleasant atmosphere. With BFTR TV, their stream which has been taking place since 2018 and the monthly podcast that started in July 2020, the crew audiovisually complements the online range for dark, heavy & hard drum & bass - Wild in the underground and independent.
