Although much of their sound can be traced back to post punk and new wave bands of the '70s and '80s, their pop sensibility reflects that of a group of kids raised on the likes of Pavement, and then later bands like The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem. Shimmering, jangling guitars mesh with soaring synths and gripping vocals, all anchored around an explosive rhythm section that blasts through the crowd of Brooklyn chill wave acts and commands your attention.
