Lachi: "I really enjoyed working on this track. Everyone's experienced that moment where they still hit 'send' despite all the advice in the world. I know I have. I always enjoy exploring the more urban timbre to my vocals and writing, and marrying that with EDM."

The song started as a rambling love/hate letter by Treasure Gnomes to an ex. Lachi fell in love with the angst and whipped it into a song. The two worked virtually along with Mixcube Studios to create "Messages."
