Blind Fog Machine Pushing Through [disquiet0254] by Benn DeMole published on 2016-11-11T13:06:05Z Create a piece of music using only two provided samples...... I used Photosounder to stretch the Nebelhorn sample to 3 minutes as well as a subby version of the same. Then in Logic actually got inspired by the clicks at the end of the Distant Train sample, Found a loop, made a kick thing from the subby version of Nebelhorn, Made a beat. Layered what I had and arranged it all making adjustments, including using Fracture on the adjusted loop. Made and instrument using Alchemy from the Nebelhorn played that in. Mixed and mastered it. Thanks to Thomas Wolter for the image I remixed: https://pixabay.com/en/railway-black-and-white-301155/ More on this 254th weekly Disquiet Junto project — “Fog and Steam: Make music from two provided samples” — at: http://disquiet.com/0254/ More on the Disquiet Junto at: http://disquiet.com/junto/ Subscribe to project announcements here: http://tinyletter.com/disquiet-junto/ Project discussion takes place on llllllll.co: llllllll.co/t/music-of-fog-and-steam-disquiet-junto-project-0254/ There’s also on a Junto Slack. It was at the end of the Distant Train sample, which may well have been recorded on a Zoom. :-) 2016-11-14T10:05:23Z Comment by Hypoid Very nice! That click reminded me of my Zoom recorder pausing during field recordings!? 2016-11-14T04:54:50Z Comment by Benn DeMole @user-696185036: Thank you.
