I have a mouth for saying,
It’s gurgling out
Saying froth
Silt teeth and
Sand tongued
I’m saying that –
It’s for saying! –
But I’m stone-worded,
I`m pebble toothed
And they fall like marbles to the floor

You could not speak that rhythm,
Five thousand thunderous claps
from flower blooms –
- Slithering from my jaw
Molten rock slabs
Crumbling, cracking
Now powdered,
Am I saying that?

Say it with your gums of resin,
Spoons of dust still in your mouth
Then, tell me it’s for saying
