Soundtrack for a Norichika Aoki Plate Appearance - [TheBrewersBar-001] by Be a Waterwolf J. Lemont published on 2013/06/10 23:08:05 +0000 Bass / Drums tracked today as a basis for this madness - (not the same drums as in the intro w/ sax. That's from a different recording of duets I did with Al Boyes at his studio in 2003 or so). Samples of other past recordings, along with RBI Baseball video game sound effects mixed in. The sci-fi-ish sound indicates he's doing the thing where he's shifting his eyes all over the field. That's basically the center of everything. Saxophone & Drums sample (with sci-fi sound) at the beginning and end are him walking up to the plate, and then walking to 1st. To make it easier, I just used the "pitch/ball" sound from R.B.I. Baseball 4 times to lead into the walk, even though this would hardly ever be a 4-pitch (non-intentional) walk. It's already too difficult to explain. 0.00-0.04 - Walking up to plate (tenor sax/drums/sci-fi sound) 0.30 - Briefly steps out of the box (sci-fi sound) 1.07-the end - pitch/Ball 4 sound from video game / Walks to first. (tenor sax/drums/sci-fi sound) All instruments from samples played & altered by J. Lemont, with exception of Al playing some insane stuff in the intro and outro on drums for the duet. Video game sounds (pitch/called "ball") are from R.B.I. Baseball (recorded into laptop internal mic' awhile back while I was playing the game, sound was turned way up). Artwork - an illustration I did of Norichika Aoki, who is looking at you.
