Barockism Fabrice Bonniot (aka Barockism) Paris Barockism [bə-rōk-ĭz'əm]: n 1. A nonobjective school of sound-design and creative DJing developed in Paris in the early 21th century, characterized by the elaboration of lush musical forms, often presenting wild and weird associations between spoken word, lyrical / classical heritage, pop gems, mystical grooves and electronic beats. 2. The electro-baroque style in music and arts conceived and developed by Les Truies Galantes from 2005. Les Truies Galantes are powered by Fabrice Bonniot, Christophe Vix (ex-President of TECHNOPOL and founding member of ROSA BONHEUR musical café) and Henri Maurel (Founding president of FG DJ RADIO, deceased in february 2011). The trio's name was chosen by Henri who was a true lover of Rameau's LES INDES GALANTES (a baroque masterpiece of the XVIIth century), a keen party-goer and an arts explorer. 3.
