Bandcloud Guest Mix - June 2018 - Gribs by Bandcloud

I first came to know of Gribs (https://soundcloud.com/gribsss) through her stunning series of FALC mixes last year. They featured sublime pockets of modern noise and sound art peppered with blistering club abstractions. The use of space was simply majestic. I've followed her since as she's spread her wings, with guest shows on NTS and Rinse, both solo and as part of Tobago Tracks (https://soundcloud.com/tobago-tracks), a label she now runs alongside DJ Pitch. That label is responsible for a huge breadth of styles, from the exciting weird club music of object blue (who provided Bandcloud's April mix) to the more languid yet still beautiful sounds of Lucaufer and April Larson, whose "The Human Heart" we premiered last year.

This mix is short but sweet, opening with an interview with an American ballerina and moving through modern electronic sounds from LOFT, ISSHU (another former BC Guest Mixer) and Sharp Veins as well as a bunch of people I've never come across before.
