Podcast Series - Walking with Water_EPISODE 3: BILJANA ĆIRIĆ & VLADIMIR NIKOLIĆ_CONVERSATION by Balkan Projects

The Latin root of the word “conversation” means dwelling (so as to think and talk) with someone or wandering with someone, and thus implies a web of interlocutors whose entanglement we use to understand our own selves. Conversation allows for the creation of relationships through process. While making Walking with Water, we walked with, swam with, thought with, and fought with one another. Our entanglement created a project for the Serbian Pavilion. In this venture, we revisit our working methodology of walking as a curatorial and artistic gesture once again, sharing our work presented at the Venice Biennale 2022. We focus our conversation on the specific project created in this context, as well as on the overall physical and conceptual character of Walking with Water.
