Counting Measures Passing Notes Ep 2 Joe Grasso by B-Va Drums published on 2016-08-14T18:49:59Z A podcast discussing music, education and the spaces they meet. Here an interview with founder of Newtown CT's music program Joe Grasso and his daughter Amy, who teaches music in neighboring Monroe, CT. Recorded and edited with MOTU Digital Performer. Genre Learning Comment by emceesquared So, after this episode, it sounds like you're finding your podcaster voice Knowing you (and how you sound) and hearing you in this context was strange at first, so maybe I'm also becoming more comfortable with this version of you? I wanted to know if he had any philosophy of teaching at first. The WHY of it. Seems like he was such a machine, and that the goal (building an instrumental music program) sort of just took over, but I wonder if he ever questioned his methods, or, what he was producing, or, why? I think about this all the time...Nice job Maign! 2016-08-22T21:05:10Z Comment by Brandt Schneider You would be amazed/impressed with Newtowns program today.
