All I ever dreamed of was to be in the position where doing music is my livelihood:whether its songwriting, recording, producing or performing, music is in my life.
Since 2003 [my first actual recording experience with promotion being the objective]Every 9 to 5 I've had has been a promotional forum for whatever project I was releasing at the time. The break room was my block so to speak, ive placed product in breakrooms from retail, warehouse, to manufacturers.Many of my fans are former co workers :)
The very first rhyme to ever come in my head was 1994 i remember this vividly because it came to me while working my very first job at shoprite collecting carts:I was 14 years old however I didn't start writing until I was 16 years old, starting out my only method was emulating those artist to whom i admired the most such as:rakim, krs one, big daddy kane, Nas, ll cool j, big, pac [the list goes on] It was through concentrating on developing my own style, many years and countless hours of studying sound, beat measures, wordplay, song structure etc. Hundreds of compositions later I can undoubtedly say I've honed my skills and have mastered my craft.It only gets greater and more potent from here.
