Ayachi Claudel /あやちクローデル
A space formative singer.
Born in Tokyo, graduated from Musashino Art university, formative arts, sculpture department,
She started singing since university student period with encouragement from Masako Togawa, who is a mystery author and the owner of “Aoi-heya.”
In 2001, she had her first live show and since 2002, she started singing in earnest. She has live shows over 250 a year. She performs not only in theater but also open air with her wide-range voice with great expression and her presence.
She also has wide ranged repertories as 20 century classical music; Kurt Weill, Astor Piazzolla , Japanese composers; Hikaru Hayashi and Toru Takemitsu, Brecht songs, Old Japanese traditional songs with new arrangements, Chanson and Canzone in Japanese, Jazz, Musical songs and more. It means she has her own explication for lyrics and songs after 1920. Her interview are on news papers and also she is on TV and magazines.
She also acts as musical actress.
In July 2009, released first cover album “inochi-karakusa”
In 2010, contributed songs and appeared in “Brecht in Asakusa” which is directed by Gianni Gebbia the Italian musician. The movie awarded semi Grand Prix of Kamakura Zen film festival.

In April 2011, she had temple concert tour; dinner and floor show at Eiraku-Ji temple and open air concert at Kimii-dera temple.
In July 2012, held Ayachi Claudel’s 10th anniversary concerts “Where did I learn singing” at Shin-Sekai in Roppongi, Tokyo.
She also joins Yukyo Circus the performance group formed by Barbara Murata the pantomimist since 2011, and she is in charge of singing, lyric translation and formative design.
In 2012, took Tokyo metropolitan Heaven artist license(Tokyo official artist license)
In August 2012,appeared in France“Festival International De Théâtre De Rue Et Des Arts De La Rue d'Aurillac”with Yukyo Circus.
In April to June 2013, appeared on stage play “Lemming/ Take me to the end if the world” Parco theater 40th anniversary-30th anniversary of Shuji Terayama’s death; directed byYukichi Matsumoto. The play appeared in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
In June 2013, appeared in German mega rock festival “fusion festival” with Yukyo Circus.
In July 2013, had your and recording for Sicily in Italy, the performance is critically-acclaimed by Italian critics.
