Ich kann mich noch erinnern, als ich Meeting Of The Spirits zum ersten mal im Radio hörte, einen Teil davon konnte ich noch schnell auf Kassette aufnehmen. Das habe ich jetzt noch im Ohr, nach fast 40 Jahren oder so :-) Der Moderator meinte, McLaughlin hätte bis dato für unspielbar gehaltene Sachen gespielt. Das war schon klasse. Klar, dass ich das aufnehmen musste :-) Mein Lieblingsstück ist ein anderes, ich weiß noch, wie es klingt, aber die LP ist leider auf dem Dachboden... (dunkel, unaufgeräumt, Wespen ;-).
