Birdcage Quartet by Audio Obscura

Great challenge (Oh wait, it was my suggestion!)

I did something quite simple, loaded two drum racks into ableton live. Used bit of rhythm from my track and from Jamies track (Sevenism)- I edited these down, eq'ed and shaped them and saved them as a new drum hit before loading them into the drum rack. Once here I created some beats and loops I was happy with.

I selected two bits from Ian (Ikjoyce) and Mauri (Subsepai)and looped these with bits of effects and reverb. This is the main part of the track. Near the end I added a bit more of Jamies bit heavy in effects and then also pushing it through some send effects channels.

That was all. The picture is of me on the night doing my original 25 minute set.
