Goodbye and Good Riddance 5 by Ethan Casner published on 2014-07-22T03:15:20Z ***UPDATE*** Version 5. Cleaned up the high end considerably which results in it sounding much smoother and less harsh. Also blended in a shitload of side-chained reverbs individually mixed and just under the hearing spectrum to make the overall master sound a bit wetter and slightly more organic. Have a listen and see what you think about it! **************** Version 4. Added a whole new mid section that transitions (i think) even better than the original. Re-did some of my shitty guitar work with guitar work that is now 15% less shitty. **************** Finally got around to completely reworking one of my old songish medleys into something resembling a song. Something I've noticed is that as much as i love my jam patches with the axe fx, they sound like shit in a mix. Am i right? And ones that sound like grainy balls when you're jamming out have a tendency to sound amazing when recorded. Ask Insane Clown Posse, it must be a magical mysterious miracle of the world or some shit! This is more or less the pinnacle of my own achievement with drums and mastering I think. Still need to iron out some fuckups and tweak a few things but overall, it's crushing.
