President Higgins officially opens Kilmurry Museum and Cultural Centre by Áras an Uachtaráin

The Kilmurry Historical and Archeological Association initiated the creation of a museum commemorating Cork’s role in the 1916 Easter Rising and the War of Independence.

The museum was officially opened by President Michael D. Higgins on 21 August 2016. See www.president.ie for details.
