Recently released EP recorded with Grammy Award Winning Engineer Terrence Cash (2003, Outkasts' Speakerboxxx) and Isaac Kikawa. After headlining at Bottom of the Hill (Rolling Stones Magazine's #1-Rated Live Music Venue in San Francisco) and competing in the Finals for Global Battle of the Bands at Hard Rock Cafe SF, their upcoming ventures include performing at Slim'sSF on 5/15 (http://www.slimspresents.com/events/2014-05-15/beso-negro/) and 9th Annual Uncorked Wine Festival (http://www.ghirardellisq.com/events/annual-events/uncorked-wine-festival).
Sounds like: Rock, Pop-Rock, Alternative-Rock, Female Vocals, Indie-Rock, Indie-Pop, Cake, The Passengers, A Great Big World, No Doubt, Veronicas, Paramore, Cranberries, Say Lou Lou, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day.
Strong female vocals, heavy harmonies, and edgy lyrics are accented by the Arizona-based drummers' heavy metal background, phrasing from the Ohio-Native and Canadian guitarists, and head-bouncing bass-lines. Their dynamic sound is brought together by infusing female vocals and harmonies with Alternative, Rock, Power Pop, Indie, and Ska. Previously worked with Grammy Winning Engineer Erick Labson from Universal Music Group and recently recorded with Grammy Winning Engineer Terrence Cash and Isaac Kikawa on their self-titled EP that was released on 4/4.
