angelomusic Angelo D'Agostino New York Known for his prosaic lyrics and abstract influences (everyone from Jeff Buckley and Michael Jackson to Morris Day and The Time) this "Pop Poet" creates synth-dripping Electro-Pop with an arsenal of Producers and Indie collaborators the world over. After his debut record "Narcissus Drowned" released in early 2012 this NYC based singer-songwriter took a handful of songs back into the studio to begin work on his next oeuvre. Moving away from concept-heavy themes, Angelo originally intended his new "Bring Me Down" as a solo release with co-collaborator The Sanfernando Sound. When principal recording began, The San Fernando Sound took on a handful of complimentary tracks as B-Sides, and what began as a single soon became an EP. The bridge between "Narcissus" and a hint toward future work, "Words & Stones" serves as progressive Electronic-Pop pulling production references from late 80's and 90's dance while relying heavily on the singers talent for broken hearted harmony and soaring range. With collaboration from indie-pop DJ/Artist Outputmessage, Brooklyn based Chezdune and The Sanfernando Sound onboard as Executive Producer, Angelo has created an ambitious step forward as both Artist and Curator of his own sound. A third generation musician, with a lineage that reaches back into NYC's own Jazz heavy past, Angelo has carved out a niche as both a vocalist and songwriter. "Words & Stones" is available worldwide via digital retailers everywhere. angelomusic’s playlists Features & Collaborations by angelomusic published on 2015-06-10T17:20:31Z
